Conceived as the replacement of the Bf 110, the Me 210 was one of the Luftwaffe's biggest failures. Extensively redesigned as the Me 410, the aircraft saw some success in the heavy fighter, intruder and reconnaissance roles. The closest RAF equivalent of the Me 410 was the DH 98 Mosquito.
