Spencer Niles is a professor of counselor education and co-director of the THRIVE Research and Intervention Center at The College of William & Mary. He served as the dean in the School of Education at W&M from 2013-2020, where he was ranked as the 11th most influential dean of education in the United States. Dr. Niles is the 79th president of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. He was awarded the Thomas Hohenshil National Publication Award by the American Counseling Association in 2019. He was twice elected as President of the National Career Development Association. Norman Amundson is a professor emeritus of counseling psychology at the University of British Columbia, Canada. He also holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Umea, Sweden. Dr. Amundson has published widely, and his work has been translated into many different languages. He has received a number of national and international awards including the Eminent Career Award from NCDA, an honorary life membership in the Swedish Career Development Association, and a special lifetime achievement award by the Canadian Education and Research Institute for Counselling.
