This book examines the unique features and impacts of stressors, examining the difference between eustress ('good' stress) and distress ('bad' stress). It explores stress's effects on various areas of life including personal and professional relationships, and behavioral and physical health, alongside cognitive theory principles to develop a deeper understanding of stress responses and coping strategies. It further explores identity development within complex environments, considering the importance of cultural, racial, and gender influences and how these intersect to shape personal identity.
