The works of contemporary and established architecture, collected in five different itineraries within the volume, highlight the presence of a multitude of fragments and elements that make up the stratigraphy of the city. Venice turns out to be a laboratory for reflection on modernity to which it is necessary to turn our gaze in order to understand the complex uniqueness of a lagoon city that develops on an island.
