Lindsay, an Aboriginal elder, and Rob, a young, white anthropology student meet in Alice Springs, Central Australia. They explore the elder’s country, find mysterious cave paintings, then set off on individual quests. Lindsay must locate three sacred objects that could be anywhere in the world. Guided by wisdom and experience, he is helped by an old friend, a new website, and Australia’s Prime Minister. Why are the sacred objects so important? Will he be able to bring them home? Rob is challenged by the Elder to find the first boomerang. Inspired by Aboriginal legends, “cosmic timing” and reliable intuition he travels to Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, the Flinders Ranges and South Australian Museum. Will he make the unprecedented discovery?
