Originally published in 1925 by explorer Michael Terry, recalling his 1923-24 account of exploration in Australias Northern Territory by driving an old tin Lizzie car from Winton to Broome across mostly trackless country. Includes many photographs of Terrys 1925 trip through the Territory by Guy Roadless trucks and an AJC sidecar. Out of print for nearly 100 years.

Michael Terry was born in 1899 and served with the British Foreign Service in Russia in 1917. He emigrated to Perth in Western Australia and was the leader of fourteen inland Australia expeditions between 1923 and 1935.
