The Warrumbungles and Mt Kaputar National Parks are two of the best-loved hiking destinations in NSW for those in the know. This brand new addition to Australia's bestselling walking guide series introduces over 20 walks (plus suggestions for varying them), ranging from leisurely strolls from the campgrounds to longer adventures exploring the more rugged tracks deep in the parks. Detailed descriptions and clear maps help the reader explore the stunning ranges and bushland. The book is richly illustrated with over 150 full-colour photographs by Julie Gill and two dozen maps. A summary table of walks indicating distances and highlights is included to help the reader find exactly the right walk for the occasion. The guide also includes a handful of walks in the surrounding country, hidden gems as well as the deservedly better-known trails.
