Maria Viskochil Edwards grew up mainly in Michigan but spent the majority of her adult life in Pittsburgh before permanently relocating to London in 2008. Always an avid traveller, she has written or fact checked several titles for Rough Guides, including California, Greece, Greek Islands, India, South India, Turkey and The USA. After decades based in Oxford, Athens, London and later Pittsburgh, along with lengthy travels, Nick Edwards finally returned to his native southeast London in 2008. He has coauthored multiple editions of the Rough Guides to Greece, India and parts of the USA, as well as updates of the Philippines, Chile and now Cambodia.
