Guiding readers through their bodys anatomy, The Embodiment Book of Bones uncovers the profound wisdom held within our skeletons. Illuminating the transformational benefits of deepening our relationships to our bones, this workbook provides as pathway to well-being and collective healing.

Integrating theory and practice, Jeff Rockwell offers expert insight into the unique function of our bones as living libraries of experience, drawing on scientific research, indigenous wisdom, Eastern healing traditions, phenomenological and somatic understandings, whilst also encouraging readers to engage in varied embodiment exercises. These practical embodiments which include reflective questions, movement explorations and breathing exercises are designed to awaken communication with our bones and allow readers to find a way back to their bodies.

Whether you are looking to enrich your professional practice or enhance a personal connection to the skeletal system, Jeff Rockwells anatomical expertise, vivid storytelling and effective exercises provide everything you might need to embark on this journey of discovery.

Dr Jeff Rockwell DC graduated as a chiropractor from Life Chiropractic College and holds a masters degree in somatic psychology. He has been in private practice since 1979, specialising in the treatment of soft tissue dysfunction, as well as practicing cranial osteopathy, polarity therapy, Zero Balancing, Neurodynamics, as well as his own Polyvagal Touch Therapy. Jeff has taught over 400 seminars on myofascial therapy and led dozens of workshops on clinical applications of polyvagal theory and the autonomic nervous system. He is on the post-graduate faculty of Life Chiropractic College West and Parker University, College of Chiropractic, as well as The Institute of Manual Neuroscience, of which he is the co-founder. A unique workbook that combines expert insights into the role of our bones whilst also providing readers with practical exercises for building a more intimate connection to the skeletal structure and promoting embodiment.

I love Jeff Rockwells forays into the body - poetry, science, good sense, and fun all have a seat at this rich feast of bone broth. No matter your level of anatomical proficiency, this book speaks to practitioner and layman alike. -- Tom Myers, author of Anatomy Trains

Very well done! -- Gil Hedley, Ph.D., Integral Anatomy Productions, LLC
By combining physiology, case histories and anecdotes, Jeff Rockville creates reflective exercises and practices, that help you recognize tiny sensations experienced as the different parts of your skeleton awaken so you can truly connect with your body and release trauma. -- Ann Linda Baldwin, PhD, Emerita Professor of Physiology, University of Arizona and Director of Mind-Body-Science
All of the spiritual and healing traditions emphasize the importance of being present to the moment and being present to your bodys sensations in order to have a life filled with clarity and creativity. Jeff Rockwells book makes a strong case that living in your body not only helps you feel better, but helps you "live better" - helping you make clear, authentic, accurate and fulfilling decisions. Then he gives you a wealth of practical ideas and exercises to help you learn to be more embodied and in touch with the present moment. -- Jim McCormick, Zero Balancing Faculty and author of Zero Balancing: Conscious Touch and Transformation
