Max Cross doesn't like feeling angry. She wants to be kind and patient. But on her field trip everything is going wrong...she wanted to stay home but her parents made her go, and her classmates are so loud and annoying. It's all so unfair! It makes her want to SHOUT! Everyone gets angry and frustrated sometimes, but we don't have to let those challenging feelings overwhelm us. Follow Max's journey and learn how the brain gets stuck in anger, how normal that is, and what we can do about it. Based on the principles of acceptance and commitment therapy, this workbook is packed full of fun and engaging activities for children aged 8-12. It also includes a section for parents and caregivers with advice on how best to support your child.
