Dr. Melinda Swafford is Professor Emerita of Tennessee Technological University (TTU). She received her Ph.D. in education with an emphasis on exceptional learning from TTU. Dr. Swafford has over 30 years of teaching experience in family and consumer sciences content, including nutrition, family service, early childhood, special education, and early intervention. Elizabeth Ramsey, Ph.D., CFLE is a professor at Tennessee Technological University. She leads the concentration of family and consumer science education along with contributing to the concentration of human development and family sciences. Additionally, Dr. Ramsey is a Certified Family Life Educator and a Rule 31 Family Mediator, carrying the domestic violence endorsement.
