Bridget Knight, B.A (Hons), B.Ed, NPQH, M.A. is in her third headship, now leading a renowned values-based primary school. For a number of years, her work was in Local Authority School Improvement, and subsequently in curriculum development at QCDA. Her guiding principle - helping children to 'grow roots and wings' - has inspired her throughout her career to examine the myriad ways in which educators can enable children and young people to flourish emotionally and spiritually. Her current role enables her to explore this philosophy at first hand. She is a trained OFSTED inspector and practising SIAMS inspector.
