Lynne Marie is the author of Let's Eat! Mealtime Around the World illustrated by Parwinder Singh (Beaming Books, 2019), Moldilocks and the 3 Scares illustrated by David Rodriguez Lorenzo (Sterling, 2019),The Star in the Christmas Play , illustrated by Lorna Hussey (Beaming Books, 2018), Hedgehog Goes to Kindergarten, illustrated by Anne Kennedy (Scholastic, 2011) and Hedgehog's 100th Day of School, illustrated by Lorna Hussey (Scholastic, 2017). Her stories, poems, and folk tales have appeared in many magazine markets, including Family Fun, Highlights, High Five, Spider, Baby Bug, and more. She is a 2016 Cybils Awards panelist in the picture book category, as well as an on-staff writer for Jon and Laura Bard's Children's Book Insider and a book reviewer.When she's not traveling around the world or planning vacations for clients as a travel agent, she lives on a lake in South Florida with her daughter Kayla Michelle, son Kevin, a Schipperke named Anakin, and several resident water birds. Parwinder Singh was born and lives in the "Steel City" Jamshedpur, India--among diverse cultures, where people love to celebrate their traditional festivals. Singh has always loved to draw and color, and now his childhood hobby has become his profession. Freelancing has given him the chance to explore more art styles and travel to different places.
