A Game Called Birds or ‘birds’ as it is known, is a lively game of strategy, sabotage and luck that celebrates Australian birdlife. It is a unique and independent board game designed in the deep south of Tasmania. The hand illustrated game features 70 superb species that each have their own unique values. There are plenty of twists to keep you on your toes, not least, the central spinning wedgie that will above all, decide your fate.

* Aside from the well known social benefits, just by playing birds you will become more aware and interested in natures bird life. * Each game of Birds is vastly different and may become addictive to play. Annual Tournaments held by the founders exist in Hobart and Adelaide, with Sydney and Melbourne kicking off in 2026. * AGE: 10+ * PLAYERS: 2-5 people. * GAME TIME: 20-40 minutes. * COMPLEXITY: Medium HOW TO PLAY: * To play, you will strategically use 2 birds from the 7 cards you have been dealt and compete against other players birds to win tricks and ultimately reach the end of the game board first. You will use one of the 13 Power Birds to sabotage other players, such as the Extinction card that wipes out any endangered birds played or the Musk Duck that torpedoes an opponent.
